The UIDIGI of WIDE1-1 that can be turned on and off as needed is very
handy.  It's useful at times but generally isn't something what would be
left running continuously.

The TEMPn-N in the background is always available but it won't be
affecting normal network operations unless the user specifically programs
for it.
