The simpler, and most efficient approach would have
been to set a D700 to listen on 144.99 for the pocket
trackers and digipeat them to 144.39. Done. No changes
for anyone but one D700, and everyone gets tracked.
Users have to realize that APRS doesn't just "happen",
it needs to be planned just like any other successful
comms event.
