[aprssig] Weather Stations and The New Paradigm

A small reminder here.

While in the process of getting NWVT into the new paradigm I had one station
tell me he was 'going to fix it' (change from RELAY,WIDE to WIDE2-2) and it
seemed like he never did. I almost got obnoxious about it but fortunately I
didn't. It turns out something neither of us though about. He would make the
change to the TNC but his weather station setup had RELAY,WIDE in it as well
and it kept undoing his efforts ...

And I must say this one small station is making a difference. It seems like
we have removed 2-3 dupes with this change. Not many but that is a weather
station with 5 minute broadcasts. Secondly as best I can tell (eyeball
guesstimate) his data is getting posted 90% now versus 60-80% before.
