This is the height of ignorance or stupidity or arrogance.
This single packet could theoretically tie up the HF channel
for over 10 minutes for EACH packet!!!!!

GIven that a 7-7 packet can generate almost 200 copies
on VHF, and then everyone of those can get GATED to
HF at 3 seconds per packet.

Going back to my first writings on HF, the rule is that
NO ONE ON VHF should ever be gating to HF.  Leave
HF for HF users who have no other path into the APRS
system.
