javAPRSSrvr does not send a beacon and should not use the same
callsign-SSID as any of your stations. ALL logins/station ids must be
unique. If you are using javAPRSSrvr to connect to another server using
a filtered port, do NOT use the m filter. If you want to use a filter
around your station, use the callsign-SSID of your client station in the
filter (f/KC0ATC/200 for instance).
All APRS users, please note: ALL logins and station identifiers MUST be
unique. This applies whether you are on RF or directly connected to a
server. Because of APRS-IS, APRS is one huge world-wide network where
EVERY client or server must be uniquely identified.
This also means that clients/servers which send data to APRS-IS must
connect to only one server at a time. Having multiple connections into
APRS-IS will cause your packets to be dropped due to loop prevention.
