Yes, exactly. But because they also do WIDE2-1, then
if there is a nearby regular WIDEn-N digi that hears it
first, then the PacComm will do a second hop too.
This is what finally made the New-N practical, because
it allowed for the PacComm old TRACE digis (T) to
be upgraded remotely without changing out the TNC
or the ROMS. No trip to the site is necessary.
Just change the ALIASES to
WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2,WIDE2-1,WIDE3-3.
And change the letter "T" between the LAT/LONG to "P".
And chnage the LTexts to say 11,22,21,33 so that
users can know what this digi does.
And change the Beacon Timing and paths as noted
in my PacComm setup file:
