[aprssig] GPS-20 keeps giving me $GPMRC with 'V' for invalid ...

I took a drive around the neighbourhood, my GPS-20 nicely
sitting on the roof of my cavalier, feeding a KPC-3 into
an Alinco DR-112 with a quarter wave magmount.

I'm picking up the minute by minute beacons without any
problem back at the base station.

BUT, the beacon is consistently showing a 'V' for invalid,
as if the GPS-20 is not able to get a valid position.

Any ideas ? I've never used one of these pucks before, but
it sure looks cool, and I need to get several of these working
really soon for our marathon.
