Yes, how well is up in the air since noone uses 9600 here in Maine as far 
as I can tell.  It uses a similar Tasco-brand TNC as the Kenwood D700A, 
however the Alinco allegedly doesn't have the time delay issue that the 
Kenwood does at 9600.

Don't quote me on it though. :)
