[aprssig] RE: D700 TNC hangs

This is what I received from Kenwood after a phone inquiry with an email followup:

Dear Kenwood Customer:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 
... in the final line of the "close" command on your software, simply
type reset

This will require guidance from the software Author.

have not tried it yet.


If the problem is connected to GPS, wonder if switiching to GPS = NONE before disconnecting
would help.

Of course if your APRS software crashes, and you don't have an opportunity to do any of the above, the D700 will go down as well.
