Nevermind. I found a D7(g) at home and tested it and the D700
and both receive it fine. The only system that I can think of
that might have a problem is if any IGates try to pass packets
back to RF using KISS mode and actually try to reproduce
the original packet..
But since there are many other non-AX.25 compliant pseudo
packets on the ARPS-IS, if there were such an implementation
we would have heard about it before now.
