I have our digi in an unheated garage here in Fairbanks, AK.  I built a 
wood box, lined it with 2in blue foam.  I installed an inside/outside 
thermometer with the outside probe in the box.  The front cover is 
removable for warm weather.  Inside the box are: radio(running 50w out), 
tnc(KPC3), power supply, and an UPS.  The equipment generates enough 
heat to keep the system operable when the temps  are -20 to warm enough 
to take the cover off.  Being inside the garage also helps as it doesn't 
get as cold as outside.  The temp in the box is upper 20's and higher. 
It has gone thru 2 winters now with no problems.  We had -39 as our 
lowest temp so far this winter.  I have pictures if you would like them.
