Wouldn't it be nicer if source routing was eliminated completely?  And
yes, source routing can easily be eliminated in the space of a TNC-2 ROM
and would work very well with UI packets such as APRS and be backward
compatible with older TNC's.

BTW, we already have eliminated it on APRS-IS (wasn't hard since source
routing was never implemented on APRS-IS ;-).
