It will work fine for "keyboad to keyboard".   Try it with a
50K file  (or 3 Megabyte MP3...)    You'd have to set the paclength
to about 100 bytes and set the window to 1.  Even then it'll
get overloaded and choke.

At the best - it'll be very slow even for 1200 packet.

I'm still looking to hear if anybody has had success using the
D7 or D700 for serious heavy duty 9k6 transfers with an
external TNC.
