I have a feeling that this is because the most recent TinyTrak III
design adds 300 baud packet to its feature list, as well as the option
to send raw NMEA (because many GPS devices provide an extra decimal
digit in the NMEA over what the standard APRS spec calls for, and some
people like that extra "precision", however useless it may be.)
