That's only true of a pure ALOHA network.  If you've got an intelligent
infrastructure and intelligent clients, you've got other possibilities.
Just plain old GPS timeslotting will get you a lot more than 60 users on a
local channel with a reasonable beacon rate, but it's not easy to manage and
it's not portable.
