Both mark the center of the eye and are automatically generated by WxSvr
from National Hurricane Center (NHC) statements. _ato indicates the
position from the full statement issued at 0300z, 0900z, 1500z, and
2100z. This is also where the 12, 24, and 36 hour plots are derived
from. _upd is from interim "update" statements issued between full
statements. Under most circumstances, there will be one update
statement issued between full statements although more or less may occur
as the NHC determines is necessary and available.

Subject: [aprssig] Katrina object question
What's the difference between "KATRI_ato" and "KATRI_upd"? I'm
guessing _ato marks the eye and _upd the leading edge, but previous
beacons make me question that guess.
