According to the Deluo web site it's based on a Sony chip set.  Some of 
the specs from the downloadable PDF-format spec sheet:

Dynamics:
    Altitude: max. 18,000m
    Velocity: max. 500m/sec
    Acceleration. max. ±4g

Navigation update rate:
   Once per second

Serial I/O :
   Series RS-232 signal   4.8K (optional 9.6K)
   NMEA 0183:GGA, GSV, GSA,  RMC,(optional VTG,GLL)


The GLL sentence  being "optional" could cause problems with some map 
software and APRS devices.  (I assume there is a utility or 
straightforward command string to enable it.)
