I was not aware that you could change the serial port
baud rate. I thought it was fixed at 9600 baud.

Why not use higher baudrates on the terminal side to avoid the
overrun of the internal buffer? It's at least able to communicate
at 19.2 kBd if not 38.4 kBd IIRC...
(Mine has a prolem at the moment so I can't check and the manual
is out of my reach at the moment ;)

P.S. If it could use 4800 Bd it would be an ideal TRX for a HamHUD-II
as the HH2 only uses 4800 Bd (at the moment, but times are
changing...)
