That's an interesting comment. But I'd like to hear more
about what you think might be lacking in the ALOHA concept
as layed out that computes actual channel capacity by
actual signals on the air, as heard.
If you have any input into the algorithm, we will welcome
adjustments until we get it right. But once we get it right,
then it should become the golden rule for APRS so that
we have a benchmark against which users and software
can be good stewards of the network based on their
actual live situation, not something published in a book
or elsewhere..
Just letting anyone/everyone jam the channel as far as
they can possibly go with no tools, or visualization as
to the consequences of their actions is no way to run
a reliable network. Yes, it makes for large pretty maps,
but it makes reliable comnmunications impossible...
