I think at least a receive igate is always welcome, as dupes are
filtered out further along.  Better to have too much data going in
than too little.

Can't answer as to whether you should also transmit igate stuff.
Xastir will only igate messages to RF, plus NWS weather stations
that you select to be allowed through.

There's not a way to filter to only one hop, but you can set the
outgoing igate path to one wide or one relay to limit how far out
your igate will carry packets.
