That's just one more thing to add to the channel utilization (assuming it
only has an RF link), and one more thing that needs to be secured against
spoofing.  Not to mention added hardware cost to have a real-time clock.
You can run a tracker off a 0.5% tolerance ceramic resonator, but it stinks
for telling time.
