We also tried the Diode thing and saw just as many errors as paralleling 
the TNC and Wxtrack on the radio transmit. The only way around this 
would have been  if the Wxtrack used the same Power up transmitter 
circuit that the Tinytrack used. We want to use the Wxtrack so those 
using a D-7 in Yosemite park can see deteriorating weather and get the 
heck off the mountain!
