<p class="MsoNormal">1. Discussion on Dave's Runmag software - request to increase the resolution by perhaps 10x or 100x. Bill noted that RF interference measurements did not influence the measurements by visual look at the data, but did just barely show an
effect when using a very sensitive statistical test. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">2. Discussion on FPGA tools and macro licensing. We are currently stuck with the GbE interface macro requiring a license in order to compile/synthesize the tri-mode-Ethernet Verilog. Tom requested Scotty and Nathaniel to work on how to

<p class="MsoNormal">Tom found 3 open-source Ethernet MACs but they require most or all of the interfaces to be redone. Some do not support RGMII (the eval board uses only RGMII), none support the Avalon interfaces for streaming and NIOS processor control.
Custom Verilog would be needed to adapt these to the MAX10 NIOS, DMA, and Ethernet PHY chip.<o:p></o:p></p>
