Notes from PSWS / TangerineSDR call of 09-06-2021

1. Tom has been working on finding a FPGA runtime package for the MAX10
development board. Many of the packages have dead links to the source. Tom
was able to (apparently / hopefully) find all the software for the
Rocketboards package, and will try to get the binaries working on the
Altera/Intel MAX10 development kit. There is one missing package for
building embedded Linux, but it looks like GCC may have evolved enough in
the intervening 5-8 years to perhaps be able to do this. If the binaries
work well, then the effort can switch to extending the Verilog and embedded
software as needed.

Two skillsets are probably needed: embedded Linux, and Verilog. This likely
needs two different people. This package would then be ported to the Data
Engine Ver. 1 when ready.

2. Scotty and Dave are working on test fixtures and software for the
magnetometer production boards.

3. TAPR Digital Communication Conference (DCC) is in a week and a half -
September 17 and 18.
