Hi Bill - looking at differences in the noise level in several of the ham
bands 160 - 6 meters would be good.
Additionally, looking at the clock frequencies of I2C chip would also be
good. My recollections
is that the chip is capable of operating at 100 kbps, 1 Mbps, 4 Mbps, so
those would be candidates.
I'd expect to at least see weak clock lines at the current setting of the
device.  Do you know what
bit rate that Dave's software currently sets up for I2C operation?
