Notes from PSWS / TangerineSDR call of 05-17-2021

1. Jonathan will be looking at a different clock configuration (bit clock rather than master clock) for the VLF receiver in order to increase the sampling rate.

2. Jules and Dave are working on a 3D printed bracket that may make magnetometer packaging/assembly simpler.

3. Discussion about noise in the amplitude estimation of WWV. The Digital RF output shows a pretty wide range of amplitudes across the day. It may be that no time filtering of the amplitude data is being performed. Perhaps the maximum and minimum of the data is being plotted as a single vertical bar?
