Notes from PSWS / TangerineSDR call of 05-03-2021

1. Grape 1 documentation: https://hamsci.org/grape1. Current parts list
should be up tomorrow.
Standard Grape 1 software image (from John Gibbons):

2. Video about Remote System Update on Max 10 FPGA (Intel):

3. Discussion on CIC compensation filters. MATLAB can generate a filter to
compensate for passband droop and export the coefficients. This apparently
also works (without graphics) in OCTAVE. Scotty mentioned there is a $50
student version of MATLAB. Tom discussed measurements of gnuradio built-in
time-domain windowing filter impact on FFT scalloping and other amplitude
errors.

4. Scotty is making progress on acquiring components for first prototypes.
He's down to 3 significant missing or delayed parts. The FPGA may become
the longest lead part (it's industrial temperature range and the fastest
speed grade).
