Notes from PSWS / TangerineSDR call of 07-27-2020

1. Dan put his Raspberry PI / Linux Ham application scripts on github:
https://github.com/n4xwe/scripts

2. Scotty asked about DE power supply needs from the RF module.
  From the 12-30-2019 call notes:
RXM-5001D Receiver module power consumption estimates:
       +12V : 10 mA typ.
+5V : 160 mA min. to 330 mA max. (depends on # relays selected).
       +3.3V : 100 mA max.
       +1.8V : 65 mA max.

3. Bill has actual receive data working from a Flex radio: 2 x FT8 slots
plus 6 x 8 ksps channels (for spectral data collection and analysis), saved
on hard drive in DigitalRF format. Separate threads are needed for FT8 and
spectral analysis. Bill is also looking at adding WSPR. Bill is starting to
add fire-hose mode with assistance from a grad student.

Bill would like TangerineSDR to support full VITA-49 compliance (each
subchannel is on a separate stream). He would additionally like a VITA-49-T
(TangerineSDR) proprietary mode that is non-standard but supports
simplified interleaved multiple-sub-channel IQ data on a single stream that
can interoperate well with DigitalRF.

4. On the DE LEAF plug-on module, power will be coming from both the M.2
connector and the 40-pin R-PI-compatible header connector. These will be
needed for the VLF receiver module. We do not have documentation yet
defining the LEAF board interface or mechanics (i.e. an ICD).
