For instance, the BBS might give prompts suitable for a human rather than the abbreviated prompts an automated remote would be looking for.</div><div><br></div><div>Once a remote requests a specific mode, it should remain in that mode unless commanded to change.</div>

<div>playing with DPBOX on old Linux and new NetBSD installs. One very</div>
<div>cool feature is that if it has you configured as a neighbor BBS it</div>
<div>will just give you the "chicken lips" prompt for a BBS, but the second</div>
<div>you initiate a user command, it will convert the session to a regular</div>
<div>user. This is a very cool feature.</div>
