          a NinoTNC firmware update that improves sensitivity for all
          the 500-Hz wide modes. This includes 300 baud AFSK AX.25
          (which I think you use Maiko?)...</div>

          regarding 300 AFSK AX.25, the new firmware adds several dB of
          sensitivity compared to the last version. Also, slightly wider
          off-frequency tolerance (the SSB challenge). </div>
