<LI>Removed all files except the sequence file, (in /jnos/spool/mqueue) then waited. New messages instantly jam again.</LI>

Only thing that seems to get them going again is if I delete all files in /jnos/spool/mqueue *and* all files in /jnos/spool/mail<BR>

Of course deleting the later files mean deleting every last message on my system. Not really the course of action I'm looking for.<BR>

So, as of now, they are still back-logging in the /jnos/spool/mqueue directory waiting for some unknown force to kick in.<BR>

So the mqueue situation I had in January is NOT associated with Internet SPAM. When I examined the messages in the mqueue, they all appeared to be addressed to our other JNOS machines. But it was a spot check. So I can’t say for certain.</SPAN></P>

If it finds any, it sends me an email with the number of files and the sequence number. It runs once an hour. If I get more than one email, the sequence number will tell me if things are at least moving slowly or stopped.</SPAN></P>

Right now, the script doesn’t do that because I’d like to try to figure out what causes a stuck situation (if it ever happens again).</SPAN></P>

Then all seems ok for only a day, and they start jamming again.<BR> <BR>I looked through the manual but did not see any documented commands to get things flowing again and did not see anything on how to get the jammed messages to process correctly rather than deleting them.<BR> <BR>Anyone got some ideas ?<BR> <BR>Wm Lewis<BR>KG6BAJ<BR> </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>
