I've been trying to add an indirect route through a gateway with no success.  Here's the configuration<br /><br />ka3l.ampr.org = 44.4.0.72<br />sceast.ampr.org = 44.4.12.1<br />scsouth.ampr.org = 44.4.14.128<br /><br />I have the following route added:<br />jnos> route look scsouth<br /> Destination      Len Interface Gateway          Metric PD Timer  Use<br /> 44.4.14.128      32  port1     44.4.12.1        1         man    35<br /><br />I sent email to ka3l@scsouth.ampr.org and see the following from smtp trace:<br /><br />jnos> smtp kick<br />Route lookup for = scsouth.ampr.org<br />Address resolver returned = 44.4.14.128<br />Mailroute returned = 44.4.14.128<br />queue job 185 From: ka3l@ka3l.ampr.org To: ka3l@scsouth.ampr.org<br />Trying Connection to 44.4.14.128<br />SMTP client Trying...<br /><br />and eventually times out.<br /><br />Why isn't it sending via the sceast gateway?<br /><br /><br />Thanks.
