By coincidence I just sent an email requesting permission to be a gateway
less than 2 weeks ago. I received a positive response either the same day
or the next day, which was worded "DONE".  I assume something needs to be
done on the Winlink side in order to allow a new requestor to be a gateway.
Once that's done, I understand that reporting to the Winlink database is
optional. That's the long winded way of saying I agree with Andrew. :-)
