Hi Jean, Niels, and all,

As there indeed is clearly still no unity in NL, I would suggest to
specifically capture *@*.nld.eu or *@p*.nld.eu to capture the issue with
sysops holding on to the idea of "we were first".

This is a copy of part my rewrite as created many years ago:

# Amateur related mail based on H-addresses for the continents:
# Some of the used addresses we do not support as they are ambiguous due
# to use on the Internet for countries. We just can't support these.
# I guess the 4-letter continent designator should be adopted completely.
# This was actually already accepted by the TAPR SIG on Jan 31, 1995........
#*@*.eu $1%$2.eu at pe1biv.ampr.org	# .eu is Europe
*@*.euro $1%$2.euro at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Europe
*@*.mdle $1%$2.mdle at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Middle East
*@*.medr $1%$2.medr at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Mediterranean
#*@*.af $1%$2.af at pe1biv.ampr.org	# .af is Afghanistan
*@*.cafr $1%$2.cafr at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Central Africa
*@*.nafr $1%$2.nafr at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Northern Africa
*@*.safr $1%$2.safr at pe1biv.ampr.org	# South Africa
*@*.ceam $1%$2.ceam at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Central America
*@*.carb $1%$2.carb at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Caribbean
#*@*.na $1%$2.na at pe1biv.ampr.org	# .na is Nanibia
*@*.noam $1%$2.noam at pe1biv.ampr.org	# North America
							# (CA, USA, Mex)
#*@*.sa $1%$2.sa at pe1biv.ampr.org	# .sa is Saudi Arabia
*@*.soam $1%$2.soam at pe1biv.ampr.org	# South America
*@*.antr $1%$2.antr at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Antarctica
#*@*.as $1%$2.as at pe1biv.ampr.org	# .as is American Samoa
*@*.asia $1%$2.asia at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Asia
*@*.indi $1%$2.indi at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Indian Ocean
*@*.seas $1%$2.seas at pe1biv.ampr.org	# South-East Asia
*@*.oc $1%$2.oc at pe1biv.ampr.org	# No Internet use, yet
# Allow .oc for now
*@*.aunz $1%$2.aunz at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Australia/New Zealand
*@*.epac $1%$2.epac at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Eastern Pacific
*@*.npac $1%$2.npac at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Northern Pacific
*@*.spac $1%$2.spac at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Southern Pacific
*@*.wpac $1%$2.wpac at pe1biv.ampr.org	# Western Pacific

# Catch mail for addresses on some neighbouring BBS'es that still use
# the .eu designator for Europe:
# Belgian H-addresses, FBB-Forwarding:
*@on*.bel.eu $1%on$2.bel.euro at pe1biv.ampr.org
# British H-addresses, FBB-Forwarding:
*@gb7*.gbr.eu $1%gb7$2.gbr.euro at pe1biv.ampr.org
# Dutch H-addresses, FBB-Forwarding:
*@p*.nld.eu $1%p$2.nld.euro at pe1biv.ampr.org
# German addresses, FBB-Forwarding:
*@d*.deu.eu $1%d$2.deu.euro at pe1biv.ampr.org
# I guess we will have to add more......

Please note that some lines did wrap.

Unfortunately my BBS/node computer failed already a few years ago, and
in the end I just didn't make the time to replace the mainboard or the
complete computer to get back online.
Only the web and mail server is still running, from which this is an
excerpt from the rewrite.

Regards, 73, Angela
