Maiko answered your querry where to get JNOS. In addition, over on the
ARRL Michigan Section "Digital Radio Group (DRG) webpage, we have a a
section on JNOS that contains a Step-By-Step how to prepare a
Raspberry-Pi, download and install the compile tools, download the sources
from Maiko's site, compile, install, and configure JNOS.
Example config files (with imbeded instructions) are included.
For my Michigan users I have a MicroSD card image of NOOBS with JNOS
pre-installed. This image has MENU options added for starting and
stopping JNOS (via systemd) and has a 'jnos' Bash script in /usr/local/bin
that allows the user to easily log into JNOS from any Xterm window. The
user can also Telnet in from any host computer on his local LAN. The user
can also gain full access to the JNOS Console with Crl-Alt-F8 (return to
the GUI desktop with Ctl-Alt-F7).
The Raspberry-Pi combined with a TNC-Pi makes for a powerful little
all-mode Packet station! AX.25, NetROM, and TCP/IP...and soon it will
support VARA :)
The DRG website is: http://www.MI-DRG.org See the "JNOS" section.
Enjoy!
