Bruce,

This is good, thank you.

 > Understand your sticking to the Windows base.

For me it's the easiest route, considering it's windows software
to begin with and it's quick off the shelf. My primary desktop at
work is slackware, has been for years and years, and my user
base and servers are all linux, I only run a windows server cause
one of my research people uses specialized Nuclear Analysis
code that is only available for Windows Server type of thing.

I was hardcore unix for 10 years as a 'switch' guy, 'qnx' before
that for 3 years, and then linux, windows, mac for the past 18
or so, 30 years of hardcore C with some kernel level.

Programmed 10+ variants of Unix in the day, linux (they're all the
same basically) and even a win32 port of JNOS some time ago,
my frustration with M$ always changing and changing is what
made me stop the windows side. WIN32 had some potential,
I actually liked how it worked, event driven like X, but then M$
changed it all, and I just didn't (don't) have the time to do it.

The JNOS just helps me keep my skill set up to speed, ha !

 > Got a little off topic so I'll stop here.  Will keep you advised as
to progress.

Anyways, now I should stop, thanks for taking an interest in this.
