[nos-bbs] Telnet EOL Issues In JNOS Connections To Telnet Servers

I have come across some strange happenings when starting a telnet
session while logged into my JNOS system. I get the first letter
of a line of text dropped when I try to log into winlink or even
the telnet service of rainmaker.wunderground.com (weather forecasts).
The JNOS logs show an EOL error. Does anyone else get this or know
how to fix it? Thanks.
