[nos-bbs] iptables vs ufw

I'm trying to write some firewall rules for my jnos running on a 
RaspberryPi.

I thought that 'ufw' would serve my purposes, but it appears that not 
all protocols are supported in ufw. Specifically, ax.25 (93) returns an 
'unsupported protocol' error when specified in a rule statement.

Also, looking in '/etc/protocols/, I can't determine which 'encap' 
protocol jnos might be using.

I was trying to avoid leaning iptables, but maybe that's not possible.

Any ideas?
