[nos-bbs] including original message in replies, comment text in forwards

Thanks Bob.

Yeah, I was looking for a command line option. We use Outpost as an AX.25
client and it does include the original in the reply or forwarding message.
We don't use POP because, well, if the Internet is available, there are
better POP mail servers! ;-)

Sorry, but with SF you can only fill in the subject. I guess that is what
you meant.

What you want is not presently possible..A way around it is to just pop it
from jnos to somewhere else and use Thunderbird or another email client
to reply.

I pop all my mail from several sources to a linux server and use IMAP with
Thunderbird at all my client computers..
Thunderbird is very flexible as you can set it with multiple identities
linked to different smtp servers for delivery.

With this a message from jnos is replied to with the right identity and goes
back to the jnos smtp server for delivery :-)

This is probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to find an answer:

I'd like to be able to both reply to a message and forward a message from
the JNOS mbox command line and include the original message in the reply,
preferably preceded with ">" or else the whole message preceded by "---
Original Message ---" or something similar.

But SR seems to send only my reply text and not include the original
message. The recipient of the reply has no context to know what part of his
message I'm referencing.

And SF seems to just forward the message along with letting me add some text
at the top. It's unusual to just forward a message without any comment.

Am I missing something or is this just not possible in JNOS?
