OK, I'll take a stab at it.
Do you have an alias file entry for n6emf? Like so:
n6emf n6emf at n6emf.ampr.org
The alias file will expand n6emf to n6emf at n6emf.ampr.org in this case. I agree that this is almost a bug, JNOS should not be forwarding mail to a gateway without a FQDN
in the address.
