If the TNC is connected directly to JNOS you could run a script of
commands every day to kick it out of KISS mode and put it back into
KISS mode.   Probably can do the same with 'expect' in Linux but it
wouldn't be so easy.     There's a lot to be said for a KISS only
TNC....
