Hi all,

It makes me wonder how JNOS handles user authentication over the air? 
Also, the sysop authorization. I have not been using JNOS for a while 
(last time used it under DOS and remember that it had some kind of 
password implementation which must have been compiled because it was not 
activated per default, or something like that).

However, I have been thinking on trying newer versions of JNOS under 
Debian or Ubuntu and wonder what is the best practice to include 
passwords, MD2 or MD5 (if available), etc. Any suggestion?
