Well, Looks like gtk development packages are not shipped anymore for the more recent slackware distributions. Great ! Looks like you may have to download from gtk.org itself : http://www.gtk.org/download/linux.php Go down a bit to the Older Versions section. I've never done this myself (never had to), so I don't know what's involved. Maiko
