[nos-bbs] smtp

Russ I have my smtp gateway set to the 
main ip on my router...in my case 192.168.1.1
before I did that smtp was locking up my system

        ever since I got my gateway back up and running. it's been running great. however since the start of it I been having a problem with stmp messages whether they be regular messages to other users or email. the email messages are going out my system has no problem sending them. it's receiving them that don't happen. my router is all setup for smtp and pop with the correct ports. google hotmail, yahoo and whatever email server all connect to my system but nothing is ever left. it's like they can connect to me  but get denied or something. regular messages to other users are getting locked and any message to another person from my system to another bbs is getting locked. 

        can someone steer me in the direction I need to go to fix this problem
