[nos-bbs] Newmail error

Good evening,

It just dawned on me that the 'New mail in' message
is very dependent on the contents of this file :

    /jnos/spool/areas

IF you want to have the new mail message displayed
for particular areas, you have to define those areas
in the above 'areas' file, ie :

   today   today in history
   ww      world wide forums
   blah    blah blah blah

That should do it. I guess I don't use this stuff enough
to be able to remember it all the time. I caught this by
looking at the code (surprise surprise). The documentation
neglects to mention the /jnos/spool/areas file with regard
to the 'mbox newmail' feature.
