I'm trying to get jnos2h and puppy 4.0 to work together with an eye to
running with no hard drive.
I'm using the same binary and the same configuration files that I've
used with ubuntu on the same machine. Jnos runs flawlessly under ubuntu
in all respects. I figured it would probably work ok with puppy, since
I'm using the same physical computer.
Under puppy, The RF port works fine but the internet connectivity does
not. Tun0 is running; I can see that with 'ifconfig'.
I can ping both sides of the tun0 interface from within jnos, and I can
ping the computer's ip as well. I cannot, however ping my router at all.
so nothing gets out internet wise.
>From outside jnos, everyting works in puppy... full internet
connectivity, browser, etc, and I can ping both sides of the tun0
interface from a puppy terminal outside of jnos. I can also telnet into
jnos from another puppy terminal on the same machine. The setup on the
router was not changed.
The default routing for puppy is exactly as it was for ubuntu so the
default route for tun0 is to the router.
Any ideas about what to look at/for now?
