Weird.  I haven't seen that problem.  We start up JNOS in a screen.  When
disconnecting, we use CTRL-A (screen command control character) then d (for
detach).  JNOS continues to run inside screen.  Then, we use screen -r to
reattach.  Works FB for 2 years.  But we do take care to always
connect/reconnect with an 80x24 screen and to not resize it during the
session.

We have a document I wrote on setting up putty and using screen.  I can send
it if you're interested.

It's nice to hear that's not just something with my setup.   I've been
running JNOS in a Screen window and it seems I get this message every time I
disconnect from the Screen session.
