Just a FYI if anybody on here hasn't heard of the new UZ7HO
soundmodem. It works great!

It's another reason why it would be useful to have client and server
support for the AGWPE TCP interface in JNOS.... We can use it now
with BPQ32 as a shim on the windows machine and that's not too bad as
this, like WINMOR, is another situation where the modem is available
only on Windows...

I use APRSISCE/32 with UZ7HO's Soundmodem via an AGW-type port for both
30m and ISS APRS work. I actually ran AGW's PEpro and UZ7HO's side by
side by changing one port to 8001 instead of 8000. The decode
difference between the two was amazing with the win going resoundingly
to UZ7HO. I used to have trouble keeping PEpro running on my Windows 7
64 bit machine to a USB Signalink for more than a day or so. UZ7HO just
runs and runs and keeps working.

When there's an ISS pass coming by, a quick frequency switch on my iCom
706 and a Modem mode change in UZ7HO and I'm Satgating instead of HF
gating. When the pass is done, switch the two back, and KJ4ERJ-2 is
back in HF gating mode. Sweet.

Even though I paid for PEpro quite some time ago, I'm afraid it won't
see much execution time going forward.
