[nos-bbs] does ANYONE use MD5AUTHENTICATE anymore ?

Yes, everytime I, or everyone that connects using Telnet, does connect to
the
BBS.

So, yes! Definitely!

If you would be accessing a BBS remotely, the sysop login and password would
quickly be known to all users that trace the traffic on the channel, if not
for using MD5 Authentication.
At least, that's the situation when using JNOS on DOS.
Someone running JNOS on Linux would obviously be able to use SSH.
