Hmmm,

Did you install the kernel headers ? TUN requires them.

Broken /usr/include/bits/socket.h file ?

OR the kernel headers (devel) are not installed.

I've seen postings about people manually fixing the file (UGLY) !

I don't have ubuntu handy, so I can't try this myself.
